Tokyo Meijin Kai
On 28th Nov. there was a performance funded by public lottery at KoaYamakuni theater.
I had noticed the event would be held only a week before. I wondered if I could buy the ticket. I went to Kusu-Merusan Hall and asked the officer if there was any thcket. I was glad because I could get.
On the day the theater hall was full of audience. The performance were five, Mimasu Lemon, Rocket Dan, Napoleons, Yanagiya Karoku, and Syunputei Shota. Mimasu Lemon performed Edogoma. I've never seen it before. I was so pleased.
I was pleased with Napoleons also. They were a pair, Bona Ueki and Palto Koishi. Ueki did magic didn't talk, Koishi didn't magic talked. It was marvelous combination. In the biginning they showed us inessential magics. Ueki dropped his handkerchief. It bounded like a ball. I was surprised but I didn't applause nor yelled. Koishi said to us that we needed practice being surprised, So we practiced saying "Oh!" "Eh!". Then he said he had not expected us really do . We laughed.
Next, they borrowed a ten-thousand yen bill from a member of audience in a front seat. Ueki folded it many times then he rubbed both elbows by it, Koishi explaned us he was heating it then Koishi beamed some hand power, Ueki showed it to us. A ten-thousand yen bill had become two thousand yen bills. Yes, the number of sheets was increased but amount of money was decreased, Of course Koishi apologised and ordered Ueki do again. This time ten-thousand yen became twenty thousand yen. And the first ten-thousand yen bill was returned to the member of audience.
In the end, Koishi explained the gimmick, Before Ueki did the magic he prepared a folding ten-thousand yen bill under his collar behind his neck. When he rubbed his elbow, he bended his arm, so he could pick it up easily. I was impressed. The gimmick was simple, but his execution was so neat.
At another magic, floating in the air, Koishi lay on a table, Ueki covered him with a large shinny cloth. He waved his hands not touching. The top of cloth elevated as if the body inside was floating. It was marvelous. For a while the audience admired, then Ueki took off the cloth. Koishi was pushing up with a leg raised. We laughed. They were so funny.
I had expected to hear Shunputei Shota's Rakugo. His impersonation slurping soba was wonderful.
All performance were excellent. I had a good time.
I was lucky to hear and watch them at live not on TV, the devil is in the details.

東京名人会
　11月28日コア山国で宝くじ公演がありました。私はその1週間前にその企画に気がつきました。入場券が手に入るか心配でした。玖珠メルサンホールで係員に入場券はあるかたずねました。手に入れることができたのでうれしかったです。
　その当日はホールは満員でした。出演は5組でした。三増れ紋、　ロケット団、ナポレオンズ、柳家花緑、春風亭昇太。三増れ紋は江戸ごまをしました。私はそれを見たのは初めてでした。すごくよかったです。
　ナポレオンズもよかったです。ボナ植木とパルト小石の二人組です。植木はマジックをやってしゃべりません。小石はマジックはやらずにしゃべります。すばらしいコンビでした。最初にどうということもないマジックをしました。植木がハンカチを落としてそれがボールのように跳ねました。私はびっくりしたのですが拍手もせず声もあげませんでした。小石が私たちに驚き方の練習が必要だといいました。それで「おおっ」とか「ええっ」とか練習しました。小石は、本当にやるとは思いませんでした、といいました。客は笑いました。
　次に前の席のお客さんから1万円札を借ました。植木は何回も折りたたみ、それでひじをこすりました。小石は彼はいま熱しています、と説明してハンドパワーを当てました。植木がそれを見せました。1万円札が2枚の千円札になっていました。そう、枚数は増えたけど金額は減っていました。もちろん小石は客に謝ってもう一度やるよう植木に言いました。今度は2枚の1万円札になりました。それから最初の1万円札はお客さんに返されました。
　終わりに小石はたねを説明しました。植木が手品をする前に折りたたんだお札を首の後ろのえりの下にかくしておきます。ひじをこするとき腕を曲げます。それで簡単にそれを取ることができます。たねは簡単でした。しかし手つきがあざやかでした。
　別のマジック、空中浮遊で小石が台に横になりました。植木がその上に大きなきらきらする布をかけました。彼は手を動かしましたがそれにはさわりません。布のてっぺんが上がりました。まるで中のからだが浮いているように。とても不思議でした。しばらく観客は驚嘆していました。それから植木が布を取りました。小石が片足をあげて腕立て伏せをしていました。客は笑いました。ほんとにおかしかったです。
　春風亭昇太の落語を楽しみにしていました。そばをすするまねがすばらしかったです。
　出演者全員よかったです。楽しみました。
　テレビじゃなく生でみることができてよかったです。細部が決め手です。
