The drainage in my kitchen

On sixth January, I called a plumber.
From the end of last year, I had worried about something obstruct in a pipe of kitchen.
I tried to remove it by a tool, a long flexible steel coil for deal with drain pipe, and tried some detergent to clean the pipe.
But it was getting worse. I called a plumber who dealt with when I had built my house fifteen years ago after winter holidays.

The man who I called was retired because of bad health. He said he had introduced his old customers different plumber. He asked me also wanted to and I agreed.

After a while I got a phone call from a plumber. I asked him to come to my house on the same day.

In the early evening two men came to my house. They cleaned the pipe with plumber’s snake, which was similar to my kitchen tool but stalwart and moved by electric power.
They remove much sludge of oil and fats. I was surprised and felt embarrassed. Usually I wipe off grease  before wash the dishes. Still I have release grease into the pipe. No way!
I was taught I should pour hot water every now and then.

My New Year resolution is pouring a bucket of hot water monthly lest it is closed.

台所排水

１月６日　水道屋さんに電話した。
去年の暮れから、台所の排水管が詰まっているようで気になった。
スチールのコイルでパイプを通す道具でつまりを取ろうとしたり、パオプつまりをとる薬品も使ってみた。
でも悪くなるばかりだった。休みあけに１５年前家を建てたときやってもらった水道屋さんに電話した。

電話した水道屋さんは身体を悪くしてやめていた。いままでのお客さんには別の業者を紹介していると言った。私もそれでいいかきかれたのでおねがいした。
少しして水道屋さんから電話があった。その日のうちに来てもらうよう頼んだ。

夕方早く二人来てくれた。配管工事の人が使う道具で、うちの道具と似ているけど頑丈で電気で動くものを使ってパイプを掃除した。
油のかたまりをどっさり取り除いた。驚いてきまり悪かった。いつもお皿を洗う前に油汚れはふく。それでもたくさん流していたんだ。しょうがない。
ときどきお湯を流すと良いと教わった。

新年の抱負はパイプが詰まらないよう毎月バケツ１杯のお湯を流すことだ。
