On 21 March I went to Oita city for a labour union’s meeting. It started from 9:00 a.m. and ended about 5:00 p.m.
On that day I had to attend a neighbor association’s meeting, thus I had to back home immediately.
But I couldn’t resist the temptation to go to the theater to buy an advance ticket. Some days ago, I had noticed the movie “Pride” would be on screen in Japan including Oita city. I’m looking forward to see it and I wanted to get an advance ticket if would have been to Oita city.
So I left the meeting around 5:00 then went to the theater. It was not far from the place we had the meeting, but there was a traffic jam near the Oita Station so it had long time.
Anyway I bought the ticket. I was glad. The movie “Pride” will be on screen from 25 April.
It is a human drama presenting the facts. . It is based on the coal miners’ strike during Thatcher government. By the Guardian’s article on 20 Sept. 2014, the cinema tells how gay and lesbian activists threw their support behind a Welsh mining community during the strike of 1984.
The director Matthew Warchus was interested in the guy activist Mark Ashton and researched.
I read the IMDb’s article, and I have known that Andrew Scott was in the cast, he plays Gethin. I love his roll Jim Moriarty in Sherlock. He is amazingly evil and cool.
As I was born in March, I can borrow DVDs at half price from Tsutaya during this month. Now I’m trying to see all the Sherlock TV series. It brings me back to my childhood. Though the script is completely different from the original story, the atmosphere is same as original Holmes and Watson. The adventurous and exciting story had amused my childhood days. There were the very bad man, and whenever I met those bad men my chest had squeezed. It was good old days.
To talk about the TV Sherlock, not only Sherlock but also Jim Moriarty is so fantastic. I’m looking forward to see the actor again in the movie “Pride”.
On 22 March, a ground golf competition was held at Hibikinosato in Oyama town. It was so fine, and the plim-trees were in full blossom. About twenty teams were participated. The game is simple but not as easy as it seems. Most of the people who took part in were above fifty years old. Our team had two young boys who came with his father. I appreciated them for their kindness.
Our team was the last but one, still I have enjoyed.
３月２１日労働組合の会議があって大分市に行った。朝９時から午後５時ごろまで。
その日は自治会の会議もあったのですぐに帰宅しなくてはならなかった。
しかし、映画館に前売り券を買いに行きたいという気持ちに抗えなかった。何日か前、「パレードへようこそ』が大分を含め日本でも公開されるということに気づいた。とても見たくて、もし大分市に行くことがあれば前売り券を買いたいと思っていた。
それで、会議が５時ごろ終わってから映画館へ行った。会議があった場所から遠くはないのだけれど大分駅付近が渋滞していたので時間がかかった。
それでも券は買ったので満足。映画は4月25日から公開される。
事実を伝えるヒューマンドラマだ。サッチャー時代の炭鉱ストに基づいている。2014年9月20日のガーディアン紙の記事によると、ゲイとレズビアンの活動家たちが1984年ウェールズの村の炭鉱ストを支援したことを伝えるもの。
監督マシュー・ウォーチャスがゲイの活動家マーク・アシュトンに興味をもち調べた。IMDbの記事を読んでアンドリュー・スコットもゲシンの役で出ていることがわかる。シャーロックでのモリアーティがすばらしかった。ものすごく邪悪でかっこよかった。
私は３月生まれなので今月ツタヤで半額でDVDを借りられる。いまシャーロックの全編を見ようとしているところ。子どもの頃を思い出す。脚本は原作とまったく違うけれど、その雰囲気は原作のホームズとワトソンと同じだ。わくわくする冒険の話に子どものころ相当楽しませてもらった。すごく悪い人が出てきて、悪者が出てくると胸がどきどきした。ほんとになつかしい。
テレビのシャーロックについては、シャーロックだけでなくジム・モリアーティも風変わりでよかった。あの役者さんを『パレードへようこそ』でまた見るのが楽しみだ。
22日、大山町の響きの郷でグラウンドゴルフ大会があった。天気がよくて梅の花が満開だった。２０くらいのチームが参加していた。競技はシンプルだけど見た目ほど簡単じゃない。参加者の大方は50歳以上だった。私たちのチームには２人少年がお父さんと一緒に参加していた。やさしい子たちだなあと思う。チームは下から２番目だったけれど、楽しんだ。
