Entrance exams are coming soon

On 11 Dec. there was co-worker's party. For it was held at the Hosenji hot spa, I stayed overnight. I took a bath at another inn, Hukumonoya. It was under the sky. Beside the river, under the hang over rock, there was a hot spring pool. The water had low temperature, so guests were recommended to soak themselves in hot water for 40 minutes.
At Yamanoyu which I stayed, unfortunately the falling water equipment was out of order. I expected next opportunity. The meals were so delicious, row trout, croquette of yam, mushroom, et al. I had eaten mini tomato in tempura for the first time.
The next morning I left the inn and went to see the Kokonoe dream suspension bridge. I've heard it tend to be crowded, so I intended to be there at eight thirty. It was a magnificent view.
I had an appointment of interview with my son of third grade high school student at eleven thirty. So with going anywhere else, I went home.

At the interview my son and I talked with his classroom teacher about the colleges he will take the entrance exams and how he will work for passing them. I was known he didn't turn in his assignment and he was lazy in his work. I wonder whether he can't work because he is mediocre, or he is mediocre because he doesn't work earnestly. It is negative spiral.
He is going to take the entrance exams for a junior college and three colleges. If he failed all of them he would be a person not in education, employment, nor training.
I won't afford the tuition fees if preparatory school or private college. I can afford this year's entrance exams. If he failed to pass the exams, it behooves him to find employment. After a while if he might want to study at university he might well study at university for working people or correspondent.
Bread-winning is important and money-making to live is necessary. With recognizing it, I hope him to study something to help him to make life worth living.

12月11日　職場の懇親会がありました。宝泉寺温泉であったので、一泊して、別の旅館、福元屋のお風呂にも入りました。露天風呂でした。川の脇で、岩がせり出している下に温泉の湧く淵がありました。湯温が低く、客は40分間お湯につかるように言われました。
　私が泊まった山の湯ではあいにくうたせ湯の装置が故障していました。次の機会を期待します。食事は、やまめの刺身、山芋のコロッケ　アミダケその他、とてもおいしかったです。ミニトマトのてんぷらは初めて食べました。
　翌朝宿を発って九重夢大吊橋を見に行きました。とても混むときいていたので8時半には着こうと思っていました。絶景でした。
11時半から高校3年の倅の三者面談の予定があったので、それ以外はどこにも寄らずに帰りました。
　三者面談では担任の先生とどこの大学を受験するか、合格するための勉強について話しました。
倅は課題も出さず勉強を怠けていることがわかりました。できないから勉強しないのか、勉強しないからできないのかどっちでしょう？　悪循環です。
　短大1校と大学３校を受験します。もしすべて落ちたらNEETになります。
　予備校や私立大学にやれるお金はありません。今年の入試だけです。もし不合格だったら仕事をさがさなくてはなりません。後になってから大学で学びたいと思ったら社会人入学か通信制で学べばよいことです。
　口を糊することは大事ですし、生きるためにお金を稼ぐことは必要です。それを分かった上で人生を生きる価値のあるものにする何かを学んでほしいです。
