community volleyball meeting

On Oct 2 and 3, our local community held a volleyball meeting. Each five district made a team to participate.
We played games round robin. On Friday two games, on Saturday two games. My team lost two games on Friday, won one game,tied one game on Saturday.
My team won the fourth prize.All the players were given towels and a carton of beer for each team. We held a recreation feast at our community center. We had a good time.

　My daughter has come home on Saturday from school excursion. She told us she enjoyed at the USJ. She gave souvenir to family, friends, neighbor, grandmas.
She made an English vocabulary test for her elder brother who was third grade in high school. She notified him the test would cover the section 1 though section 5 of Duo beforehand.
There were 50 questions. She said he would pass 45 point or more. He got 18 point. She will give him re-make test. Duo is a word book I've given him. He is willing to memorize them. My
daughter is helping him and having fun.
Nobody goes to a cram school in my family. I'm grateful to my daughter for making my son study. She usually says to her elder brother, "How did the mid-team exam?""Are you prepared
an entrance exam?"
From end of September I rent the room of the community center on Monday and Wednesday night from 7:30 to 9:00, for high school students' studying. I hope him study earnestly at least
2 days in a week.

１０月２日３日は地区のバレーボール大会がありました。５つの地区が１チームずつ参加しました。総当りで４試合しました。金曜に２試合、土曜に２試合です。私のチームは金曜は２敗、土曜は１勝１引き分けでした。４位でした。選手はタオルと各チームにビール１箱もらいました。公民館でお疲れ様会をしました。楽しいときを過ごしました。
　娘が土曜日に修学旅行から帰ってきました。ユニバーサルスタジオジャパンが楽しかったと言っていました。家族、友達、ご近所、祖母たちにおみやげを買ってきました。
娘は高３の兄に英単語テストを作ってやりました。
前もって範囲はＤＵＯのセクション１からセクション５までと言ってありました。５０問あって、娘は４５問以上で合格と言っていました。倅は１８点でした。再テストをすると言っています。ＤＵＯは私が倅にあげた英単語の本で、倅はそれを覚えようとしています。娘はそれに協力し楽しんでいます。
　我が家では誰も塾に行きません。娘が倅に勉強させてくれるので感謝しています。ふだんから「中間テストどうやった？」とか「受験勉強はしちょる？」とか言っています。
　９月の終わりから、月・水曜の夜７時半から９時まで高校生勉強会用に公民館を借りるようにしました。せめて週２日でもきちんと勉強してほしいです。
