Now I’m looking forward to a movie and a lecture.
The movie is “TALK BACK OUT LOUD” ,a documentary film about an all-women amateur theater group which originated in SF jail.

Since 2008, The Medea Project:Theater for Incarcerated Women, an all-women amateur theater group which originated in jail, has been working in collaboration with Women’s HIV Program to mainly tug these women out od the closet and to help them break their silence.
In March 2010, they premiered their new ‘documentary’ theater piece Dancing with the Clown of Love. It featured women living with HIV and was performed by sixteen women, half of whom were diagnosed positive.

I’m looking forward to see her.
I have known that Uchida Rintaro will come to Omuta city on 31 May Saturday. I’m fond of his works. It probably two and half hours to Omuta city from here. I’d like to go to listen to his lecture. He informs it on his blog. I suppose it will be crowded.

家族難民
I’ve read “Family less refugees” written by Yamada Masahiro.
He predicts our society go to singlification.
It has two meanings, one, it become longer the team of being single in a person’s lifetime, the other, in all generation the population of single person —by unmarried, divorced , being bereaved of—is increasing. Because of extending lifetime, the term of being single in old age become longer.
From age-30 to age-34 the percentage of unmarried people is 11.7 for men, and 7.3 for women at 1970. It is 47.3 for men and 34.5 for women at 2010.
Single people, for all generation, used to be included by big family in Meiji era. People used to think that being single is a temporary state in the beginning and ending of their social life.
But single population is including. The sons and daughters who live with their parents can’t be independent from their family because of luck of income.
He says the Family less refugees are people who have no relative to count on. He expect it will be 3 million in thirty years.
The welfare system of our society is designed for families and it premise there is support from their family.
That system will widen the gap between the haves and the have-nots. From the pressure people hesitate to have their family.
Mr. Yamada suggests two approaches. One is encourage to have families, and the other is to reform the welfare system.
Mr.Yamada suggests you should have your family, and go to the marriage making party. Besides he shows us about share house to make semi-family.
He refers to PACS in France and Sambolagen in Sweden. It is similar to marriage. People get legal protect and can separate easily. It is open foe same sex couple.
In Japan if you want to make a relationship similar to marriage, you should choose de facto marriage. It helps a little but it is not popular.
He fears if the population of single keep on increasing the population of under class will bigger. In case of that our society will be fragile.
I suppose this is my own issue. My sons will be under class. Two of them work as temporary workers and one of them can’t find any job.
I should do something I can for reform of welfare system.
It is very interesting book written for ordinary people.
To my regret he doesn’t suggest the library’s possibility, I think people can avoid being isolated if he/she goes to library. Books are the media which connect people.
I wish young people get along with library.

著者は社会がシングル化していくと予測する。それには２つの意味があり、ひとつは一人の人が人生のうちでシングルでいる期間が延びていること、もうひとつは各世代で未婚・離別・死別によりシングルでいる人が増えていること。寿命が伸び老後シングルの時間も伸びている。
３０〜３４歳の未婚率は1970年は男性11.7％ 女性7.2％だったが、2010年には男性47.3％ 女性34.5％になっている。
明治時代にはいずれの世代のシングルも家族に包摂されていた。人々はシングルは人生のスタート期と終末期の一時的な状態と思っていた。
しかしシングルの人口は増えている。親と同居していた子が十分な収入がなくて独立できない。
家族難民はたよれる人がいないと言う。３０年後には300万人になると予測する。
社会保障制度は家族単位で家族の助けを前提としている。それは持てる者と持たざる者との格差を広げる。その重圧から家族をもつことをためらう。著者は家族をもつこと、社会保障制度を改善することの２つの方向から考える必要があるという。
著者は家族をもつことを勧め婚活を勧める。他方、準家族をもつ方法としてシェアハウスを提案する。
フランスのPACS、スウェーデンのサムボ法はよい制度だという。結婚と同じく法的保護があり離婚はしやすい。同性でもできる。
日本では結婚に似た関係を持とうとすると事実婚を選ぶことになる。多少はよいが人気はない。
シングル化が進めばアンダークラスの人口が増えることを危惧している。そうなったら社会は脆弱になる。
このことはまさに私自身の問題だ。倅たちはアンダークラス化するだろう。二人は非正規で働いており一人は何の仕事も見つかっていない。
社会保障制度を変えるためにできることをしなくてはならない。
とても興味深い本だ。ただ残念なのは図書館の可能性について触れないことだ。図書館に行けば孤立化を防げると思う。本は人と人をつなぐ媒体だ。
若者が図書館になじんでくれることを願う。

the consecutive holidays
On 2nd May, my daughter, lives in Saga city has come home at the first time since she left on 30 March.
I expected to see her, she had asked me to pick her up at the station about nine o’clock in the night.
But on the day she texted in Line she would come home by car, so I would not need to go to the station. One of her friend’s mother picked up her son who lives in Omuta city, then kindly went to Saga to give a ride her.
On 4th May, my daughter and I went to Fukuoka city. We went through route 386. We supposed the expressway would be crowded.
We visited my third eldest son. Then my son, my daughter and I went to shopping. First we went to a home center to buy a toaster with microwave oven, a bamboo blind, and tin foil panel which to prevent getting dirty around the gas stove.
We carried them to my son’s apartment.
Then I parked my car in a parking lot near Nishijin subway station. We took subway train to Hakata.
At Tenjin station a lot of passenger get on and get out because of Dontaku festival.
At first we bought some croissant at Mignon. Many costumer were lined up. We hang around in the Amu plaza. Then we went to Yodobashicamera to buy a personal computer for my son. We bought an inexpensive one. After that I looked iPad mini and Nexus 7. I want to buy one of them. I asked a salesperson if my IDEOS could be used tethering for them. At that time my IDEOS was connected both tablet. But both of them can’t access internet. I don’t know why. A should ask the company run the SIM card.
I can’t make up my mind which tablet I will buy. I want to use navigation, to read e-books, to listen to music and podcasting, e-mail, LINE, Skype or google hung out. My sons and daughter use iPhone, but for me iPone’s screen is too small to read text. I have used to use tablet, Lenovo idea tab.
To my disappointment, it hailed recently. I should buy new one. It cost more than the former. It is nuisance. On the other hand it is a little exiting to waver in my choice.
I want to buy firm one this time, and to expand the term of guarantee.
On 6 May, I took my daughter Saga city to her apartment. The university will start on 7 May. So she have to back to Saga city.
I drove prefectural route 151, there were less cars than route 210.
On the way to Saga city, we dropped in Tony’s cafe in Ukiha-machi.
We ordered tacos, she chose spicy lord and I chose minced meat. There were two pieces for one person. So we exchanged one of those. Both tasted good.
And we ordered ice cream, blubbery and chocolate. Those were served with fried torilla, added honey and cinnamon. It matched very well. I went there for the first time.The restaurant has ethnic and comfortable atmosphere. I’ll go there again.
My daughter stayed home three days. She saw some friends, freshmen of university, One girl who goes to Teikyo university in Tokyo came home by night express bus. It is inexpensive. Her university had eight continuous offs, so she decided to go home.
My daughter is going to the driving school from the end of May. She told me the university coop’s person recommended to go to the driving school, “It’s now or never”.
She expecting to get driver’s license in the summer vacation.
She intends to work on every Saturday and Sunday. It will be useful.
I’m looking forward to see her again in summer vacation.
５月２日 佐賀にいる娘が帰って来た。３月３０日にこちらを発って以来だ。
会うのが楽しみだった。夜９時くらいに駅に迎えに来てと言っていた。でもその朝、LINEでクルマで帰るから迎えはいいと言って来た。大牟田にいる友達のお母さんが息子を迎えに行き、親切なことに佐賀に迎えにきてくれるとのこと。
５月４日娘と福岡に行った。高速道路は混んでいるだろうと思い386号線で行った。
３番目の倅の所を訪ねた。それから倅と娘と買物に出かけた。まずホームセンターへ行きトースターレンジ、よしず、ガスレンジまわりの汚れ防止アルミパネルを買った。それらを倅のアパートに持って帰った。
その後、西新近くの駐車場にクルマを駐め、地下鉄で博多へ行った。天神駅ではたくさんの乗客が乗り降りした。どんたくのせいだ。
まず、博多駅のミグノンでクロワッサンを買った。行列ができていた。アミュプラザをぶらぶら見た。それからヨドバシカメラへ倅にパソコンを買いに行った。安いのを買った。それからアイパッドミニとネクサスセブンを見た。どちらかを買いたいと思って。お店の人に私のIDEOSのテザリングで使えるのか訪ねた。どちらもIDEOSを認識はするがインターネットにつながらない。SIMカードの会社に聞かなくては。
どちらのタブレットを買うか決められない。ナビと電子書籍を読むこと、音楽とポッドキャストを聞くこと、メール、ライン、スカイプかグーグルハングアウトが使いたい。倅たちと娘はアイフォンを使っているが、私にはあのスクリーンは字を読むには小さい。タブレット、レノボのアイデアタブに慣れてしまった。でもがっかりしたことには最近こわれてしまった。新しいのを買わなくては。でも前のやつより高くなるだろう。めんどうだ。その反面、何を買うかちょっとわくわくする。
今度は丈夫なのを買いたい、そして保証期間を延長するんだ。
６日、娘を佐賀のアパートまで送っていった。大学は７日から始まるから帰らなくては。
県道１５１号線を走った。国道２１０号線よりクルマは少ない。
佐賀に行く途中、うきは町でトニーズカフェに寄った。タコスを頼んだ。娘はスパイシーポーク、私はミンチを頼んだ。一人分に２つあったので片方ずつ交換した。どちらも美味しかった。
それとアイスクリームも頼んだ、ブルーベリーとチョコレートを。揚げたトルティーヤにはちみつとシナモンをかけたものと一緒に出された。とても合っていて美味しかった。今回初めて行った。異国風で居心地がよいレストランだ。また行こうと思う。
娘は実家に３日間いた。何人かの大学１年生の友達と会った。そのうちの１人、東京の帝京大に行った人も夜行バスで帰ってきた。夜行バスは安い。そこは８日間休みだったそうで、だから帰る気になったのだろう。
娘は５月末から自動車学校に行く。大学成功の人が免許を取るなら今でしょ、と勧めたそうだ。夏休みに免許を取るつもりだそうだ。
土曜と日曜にバイトをするつもりだ。
また、夏休みに会うのを楽しみにしている。

MayDay
On 26 April, the May Day rally was held.
Until last year the alliance of regional Unions of Kusu and Hita had held the rally individually. But the regional Unions has reorganized lately.
Then the May Day rally has jointed.
Our union has reorganized two years ago, then Hita and Kusu region has jointed.
This year I’m on duty of the representative of that, contain seven branch work places. I’m not confident in me for the post. But I should do the role by seniority rule. Each work place has two representatives and we have to hold meetings once a month. I should reserve a room in my office.
We work for different places and we don’t know the other’s work place environment. We have to keep mutual understanding and help.
I’ve known some of them are commuting from long distance. It is hard work for them working for union after their work.
I wish I would do the task without making mistakes.
Still it is too bad.
On 26 April, I made a mistake.
We gathered at Hita city municipal office parking lot to get five hired buses. I brought a rod and a banner of our union, which I had believed to be. I saw an acquaintance from another work place. Then we tried to put the banner on the rod. We were surprised and laughed. It was not our union’s banner. The former representative gave me some wrong banner. So I left them in my car. We participated without our union’s banner. There were over five hundred people. It would be nice if we had our banner. I should unfold the banner when he handed it to me on the other day.

4月26日メーデーの大会があった。
昨年までは日田と玖珠の地区労は別々に大会を行っていた。しかし最近地区労が再編された。それからメーデーは協同開催となった。
私たちの労組は一昨年再編され、日田と玖珠が合併した。
今年度は私が７つの分会の代表をする。そんな役ができるとは思えないけれど。でも歳の順だからしないといけない。それぞれの分会から代表が２名で月１回会議をする。私の職場で会議室を用意しないといけない。
私たちは違う職場で働いているから、よその職場環境がわからない。理解し合い助け合わないといけない。
そのうちの何人かは長距離通勤をしているそうだ。仕事のあと組合の仕事をするのはたいへんだろう。失敗せずにできるといいのだけど。
それなのに。

市役所の駐車場に集合して貸切バス５台に乗ることになっていた。私は棒と組合旗を持っていった、と思っていた。他の職場の知り合いに会った。それで旗を棒に付けてみようということになった。二人でびっくりして笑った。それは組合の旗ではなかった。前の支部長が私に違う旗を渡していた。だからそれはクルマに置いていった。私たちは組合の旗を持たずに参加した。500人以上の人がいた。旗があったらよかったのに。先日、旗を受け取ったとき広げてみるべきだった。

A book about gamble addiction
I’m going to recommend you the book “I can’t stop” written by Hawakigi Hosei.
About a week ago, I noticed an article that a city employee had sot;en the tax mont. The man has been addicted Pachinko. I suppose he has spent much money for Pachinko. T’ve learned about gamble dependency by this book. The article reminded me it.
In Japan there are five million Pachinko or Slot machines. This author informs us about the people suffer from gamble addiction. The families of them are suffer much more.
The people loan much money that can’t pay back. Many criminals are caused by gamble addiction. Also there has been tragic deaths of infant, who left in cars at the parking lot of Pachinko parlors and died from dehydration.
I was surprised to know how serious disease the gamble addiction was. And relieved to know there were people who had overcome.
I love his novels, but I’ve read his non-fiction work first. I was moved.
帚木蓬生の『やめられない』をおすすめしたい。
１週間ほど前、市の職員が税金を着服していたという新聞記事に気づいた。パチンコ依存だったらしい。たくさんのお金を注ぎこんだことだろう。この本でギャンブル依存症のことを知った。この記事で想い出した。
日本には５００万台のパチンコ・スロットがあるとか。作者はギャンブル依存症に苦しむ人のことを知らせている。その家族は本人よりはるかに苦しんでいる。
彼らは大金を借りているが返せない。ギャンブル依存症によって多くの犯罪が引き起こされる。幼児の悲劇的な死、パチンコ屋の駐車場で車内に残され脱水による死、も起こる。
ギャンブル依存症がどれほど深刻な病気か知って驚いた。そして何人か生還した人もいることを知ってほっとした。
この作者の小説はとても好きだが、ノンフィクションを読んだのは初めてだった。深く心に残った。

On last Sunday, I went to the final disposal site in Midorimachi,Hita city. I have some long iron rod which I used to use and don’t need anymore.
I can’t throw them on regular garbage collection days, because they are too long to put in the designated bag.
I’ve read an article on the city bulletin, once a month the final disposal site is to be open on Sunday. In April the date was 20, So I went to. It is helpful for citizen who work on weekday.
この前の日曜日、日田市みどり町の最終処分場に言った。以前は使っていたけどもう要らない長い鉄の棒が何本かあった。普通のゴミ収集の日には出せない、長過ぎて指定袋に入らないから。
市報で月１回日曜日に処分場が利用できるという記事を読んだ。４月はその日が２０日だった。それで行った。平日働いている市民には助かる。

日本には５００万台のパチンコ・スロットがあるとか。作者はギャンブル依存症に苦しむ人のことを知らせている。その家族は本人よりはるかに苦しんでいる。
彼らは大金を借りているが返せない。ギャンブル依存症によって多くの犯罪が引き起こされる。幼児の悲劇的な死、パチンコ屋の駐車場で車内に残され脱水による死、も起こる。
ギャンブル依存症がどれほど深刻な病気か知って驚いた。そして何人か生還した人もいることを知ってほっとした。
この作者の小説はとても好きだが、ノンフィクションを読んだのは初めてだった。深く心に残った。

On last Sunday, I went to the final disposal site in Midorimachi,Hita city. I have some long iron rod which I used to use and don’t need anymore.
I can’t throw them on regular garbage collection days, because they are too long to put in the designated bag.
I’ve read an article on the city bulletin, once a month the final disposal site is to be open on Sunday. In April the date was 20, So I went to. It is helpful for citizen who work on weekday.
この前の日曜日、日田市みどり町の最終処分場に言った。以前は使っていたけどもう要らない長い鉄の棒が何本かあった。普通のゴミ収集の日には出せない、長過ぎて指定袋に入らないから。
市報で月１回日曜日に処分場が利用できるという記事を読んだ。４月はその日が２０日だった。それで行った。平日働いている市民には助かる。

new life troubles of my daughter
There was an annual neighborhood party on 5 April.
We have the cherry-blossom viewing party every year. This time I took my second eldest son with me for saying Hi.
He used to live in this neighborhood till 18 years old. Now he is age-22. Some resident don’t know him. So it was a good opportunity to greet
them.
On the next day, It was our neighborhood’s turn to clean up the local community center. We started cleaning at nine o’clock. It finished 10:30. I went to Saga city at 11.
I brought her a pair of places of drying laundry. My daughter’s apartment has a veranda,which has a guardrail. There has no hook to hook a laundry pole. The next door’s man put on his pole on the guardrail. It has no roof. So I can’t use a bracing rod or a bracing shelf.
At my home I use a pair of basement for the rods which use pour sand or water. It is light itself and convenient. I carried them to my daughter’s apartment.
We went to buy two bracing shelfs. One for the space between sink and a refrigerator, the other for the Lavatory. We set them up. Though it took time, somehow we made it.
On the way home I dropped in a home center. I bought the most cheep set for my home. The basement was made of concrete.
Those were so heavy and not convenient. But at the home center a person warm for the store loaded them my car and at home I let my son carry those. I am grateful them.
After that we chatted via Line. I knew the set up process for NTT Flets had not finished yet.
On 31 March, two person came to construct for the Internet fiber. They left us the CD-ROM saying if we follow the CD-ROM’s guid we could set up for NTT Flets easily.
I tried to set up. I could make connect Internet. But the guide continue to do another work. But I couldn’t understand what it request. I left the remain to my daughter. She couldn’t understand what’s the password the CD-ROM’s guide requested.
The next day she let me know. She e-mails the customer’s support. The person said, ”you need not use the CD-ROM because
your contract doesn’t contain Hikari phone. Then you need not the CD-ROM.”
She confused. She also asked the university- coop provider, but the person at the counter didn’t know about such case.
Now she stopped considering about that. Anyway she can connect Internet.
４月５日は定例の懇親会があった。
私たちの班は毎年お花見をする。今年は挨拶がてら２番目の倅を一緒に連れて行った。
倅は１８歳までここに住んでいたが、いまは２２歳だ。何人か知らない人もいる。だから挨拶をするいい機会だった。
翌日、私たちの班がコミュニティセンターの掃除当番だった。９時から始め１０時半には終わった。１１時、佐賀市に行った。
物干し台を持って行った。娘のアパートはベランダがあってその手すりがある。竿掛けはない。となりの人は物干竿をてすりに掛けている。天井はないのでつっぱりポールやつっぱり棚は使えない。
うちでは水か砂を入れて使う台を使っている。軽くて便利だ、それを娘のところに持って行った。
２種類のつっぱり棚を買いに行った。ひとつはシンクと冷蔵庫のすきま用、ひとつはトイレ用。設置した。けっこう時間かかったけどとにかくやった。
うちに帰る途中ホームセンターに寄って一番安い物干し台を買った。台はコンクリート製だ。とても重くて不便だ。でもホームセンターではお店の人がクルマに積んでくれてうちでは倅に運んでもらった。ありがたい。
それから娘とラインで話した。NTTフレッツの設定がまだできていないことがわかった。
31日には二人の人がインターネットの工事に来た。その人はCDロムをくれてこれにしたがってやれば簡単にセットアップできると行った。
私がセットアップしてみた。インターネットにはつなげた。しかし、そのCDのガイドはまだ別なことを続けた。でも何を要求されているのか判らなかった。あとは娘に任せて帰ってきた。娘はCDのガイドのいうパスワードが判らなかった。
翌日娘が知らせてくれた。娘はカスタマーサポートにメールで問い合わせた。係の人は「CDは使用しません。ひかり電話を使わない契約ですからCDは必要ありません。」と言った。

Time of Departure
Last weekend I did a series of moving.
On 29 Saturday, I went to Fukuoka to help my sons’ moving. My third eldest son will start to live alone at Fukuoka city, and my second eldest son has finished living at Fukuoka city. So I carried second eldest son’s stuff which the third eldest son can use at his place. Then I carried back the remains to home.
My second eldest son had something to do on Monday, so he was still at Fukuoka city.
On 30 Mar. my daughter and I carried her belongings to her new apartment. We had an appointment to see the land lady to get the room key at 9 a.m. We left home at six thirty. We arrived before 9 a.m. After we had gotten the key, we went to shopping. We bought a gas stove, cabinet, laundry pole, an electric rise cooker, and so on.
We went to the university where a group held a temporary recycle shop for the freshmen. My daughter got a washing machine by free and paid 500yen for delivery. Also she has bought a second hand bicycle at 4000 yen. We are grateful for the senior students. That event should be helpful for the freshmen.
We came home on the day. I had taken paid leave on the next day, so we carried her bed and some anther stuffs again.
This time it took longer in the Kurume city then the day before. Because we left Hita city at 9 a.m. While we were in the Kurume mid town there was heavy traffic. It took about twenty minutes longer than the day before to Saga city.
We fixed the room. We put together the closet hunger and sectional cabinet.
The men from NTT West came to construct.
Then I left Saga city and went to Fukuoka city, I worked to help my son’s moving there, then back home.
I worked for moving three days in a row.
旅立ちの季節
先週末引っ越し続きだった。
２９日土曜日、福岡市に倅の引っ越しの手伝いに行った。３番目の倅が福岡市で一人暮らしを始めることになり２番目の倅が福岡市での生活を終えることになった。それで２番目の倅のモノで３番目が使えそうなものは運んだ。その残りを実家に持ち帰った。
２番目の倅はまだ月曜日にすることが残っているので福岡市にいる。
３０日、娘と私で娘の持ち物を新しいアパートに運んだ。９時に大家さんと会ってかぎを貰う約束をしていた。うちを６時半に出発した。９時前に着いた。鍵を受け取って買物に出かけた。ガスコンロ、キャビネット、物干竿、炊飯器などなど。
大学で有志が新入生のために行っているリサイクル市に行った。娘は洗濯機をただで、配送料５００円でいただいた。中古自転車も４０００円で買った。先輩方に感謝だ。この催しは新入生には助かる。
その日は実家に帰った。翌日年休を取っってベッドその他をまた運んだ。今回は前日より時間がかかった。というのも日田を９時に出たから。久留米市内が車が混んでいた。佐賀市まで前日より２０分ほど長くかかった。
部屋を片付けた。押し入れハンガーと引き出し式もの入れを組み立てた。
NTT西日本の人が工事に来た。
その後佐賀市から福岡市に行った。福岡市で倅の引っ越しを手伝ってうちに帰った。
３日間続けて引っ越しをした。
