On Aug 30, an election for lower house of parliament is due to be held. Newspaper says the upcoming election might end the Liberal Democratic Party rule, which has been for more than half a century except for a break shorter than a year in 1993.
I haven't figure out the attitude in rural. At our annual community meeting, a city council member comes and explains how LDP is working. It is said there used to be an election-wining machine in rural Japan. I wish the voters live in rural have became disengaged, because the young people has been impoverished.
If voters choose to change the ruling party, it would be Democratic Party. It is made up LDP defectors and not cohesive. If it would rule, what would be differ from now? I'm interested in the way of redistribution, independence from the US, and how to deal with the bureaucrats.
I'm expecting to be revealed the secret promise which has been hidden by Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
There are many difficult problems like recession, lost pension, social welfare, education, sustainable energy, and so on.
Some correspondents say the upcoming nationwide election would be a sea change. I wonder whether it goes to breakdown or breakthrough?
8月30日に衆議院選挙があります。新聞によるとこの選挙で 1993年の1年足らずの中断を除いて半世紀以上続いてきた自民党支配が終わるかもしれないとのこと。
田舎はよくわかりません。うちの地区の年に一回の自治会総会には市議が来て自民党議員の活動報告をします。自民党は田舎に集票マシンをもっているとききます。
私は田舎の有権者がしがらみから解放されることを願います。若者が貧困化してきているのですから。
有権者が政権交代を望むなら、民主党かもしれません。民主党は自民党脱党者からできおり、一枚岩ではありません。もし、与党になったら今とどうちがうのでしょうか？
再配分をどうするのか、どうアメリカから距離をとるのか、官僚との関係はどうするのか興味があります。
外務省に隠されてきた密約について明らかにされることも期待します。
不況、消えた年金、社会保障、教育、持続可能エネルギー等々、難しい問題がたくさんあります。
総選挙は大きな変化をもたらすかもという新聞記者もいます。それはどちらに向かうのでしょうか、破滅？大躍進？

Safe internet use lecture
On 10 July, I went to O** junior high school to attend the PTA meeting. At there I've heard a lecture with the students about the method of safety using of mobile phone.
The lecturer was a woman worked at NTTDocomo.
She talked about the danger in visiting the dating sites, or the bulletin boards which were generally called school unofficial sites.
She also warned not to contribute your personal data on the "Prof" sites to keep your life safe.
All the students had understood that making disparaging comments was a libel. But all of them had misunderstood how to describe was improper.
The lecturer asked the audience. "Do you think this posted message is proper? " The example: "The Oyama junior high school baseball club coach is so cool!
I wonder whether he has a steady girlfriend?"
A student judged it was improper and the rest of the students judged it was no problem.
The lecturer asked the boy student, why did he think it was improper, he replied he thought telling a lie was improper.
No student had understood, if you post the bulletin boards a proper noun, it might cause a bother to an organization or an individual.
I thought the feature of Internet including cell phone is that you can spread information widely with little efforts. It is not been learned actually by junior high school students.
I thought the students and parents ought to learn a lot about information literacy.
７月１０日 オ**中学校のＰＴＡに行きました。生徒たちと一緒に携帯電話を安全に使うための講演を聴きました。講師はNTTドコモの人でした。
講師は出会い系サイトや、学校裏サイトといわれる掲示板を利用することの危険性について話しました。 また、身を守るためにプロフに個人情報を載せないよう言いました。
人を中傷する書き込みは名誉毀損だということは生徒たちは皆理解していました。でも、どんな書き込みがいけないのかは誤解していました。
講師が質問しました。「この書き込みはいいと思いますか？」 この例です 「大山中学校の野球部の監督チョーかっこいい。彼女おるんかなあ？」
一人の生徒は不適切と判断し、残りの生徒は問題ないと判断しました。講師が、一人の生徒にどうしていけないと思ったのかきくと、うそはいけない、と答えました。
掲示板に固有名詞を出すことで、その組織や個人に迷惑が及ぶ可能性を理解している生徒は一人もいませんでした。
携帯電話も含めインターネットの特性はそうたいした手間をかけず広範囲に情報を広めることができることだと思います。中学生にはそれはまだ実感できていません。
生徒も親も情報リテラシーについてたくさん勉強しなくては、と思いました。

Working weekend
Last weekend I worked hard.
In last Saturday evening, I noticed that my ornamental trees' branchs were beyond the property line of my neighber.
I cut some twigs with a pruning scssors, Then I cut limbs and branchs which were height beyond my reach with a pruning hook.
Moreover I attached a lopping saw blade on the pruning hook. Then I cut a wide branch.
But I started to cut from blow side of a leaning branch. So as I cut the branch, the weight made the saw couldn't move.
I tried and tried, but I couldn't remove it.
For the moment, I put the handle on a electric water-heater, keeping the saw from bending or breaking, then I hurried to take a stepladder.
I climbed a ladder and pulled the blade of the saw cautiously, successfully I did. I cut the branch from the other side again.
I could cut the branch off. I pruned two trees in my garden. It took almost two hours.
In the next morning, I worked from six. I sawed the branchs to cut into the length which could be put into the designated plastic gabbage bag, I stopped at seven forty. Because I had another promise, which to start at eight.
I worked at planting flowers on the retaing wall by the road in our community. There are a little less than hundred of drainage pipes which are used as flower pots. Twice in a year people in this community including elementary school students plant flowers.
This time it was harder than planting flowers to cut the climbing plants or to weed or to clean the side ditch.
Though my back hurt, the road side in Tsuzuki school zone has become colorful.
After the event I came home to continue putting branchs away again. For the day was my turn of cleaning Huruyadau public hall, I went to there to clean and weed with other two persons.
I was glad the weather was nice, and I could finish all the works.
先週末はよく働きました。
先週の土曜日の夕方、うちの木の枝が隣の境界線を越していることに気づきました。 小枝を剪定ばさみで切りました。それから、手の届かないところの太い枝を高枝切りばさみで切りました。さらにのこの歯を取り付け、太い枝を切りました。
しかし、傾いている枝の下側から切り始めました。それで、枝を切るにつれ重みでのこが動かなくなってしまいました。いろいろやってみましたが、はずせませんでした。
とりあえず、柄を電気温水器の上に載せて、歯が曲がったり折れたりしないようにして、急いで脚立をとりに行きました。
脚立に乗って慎重にのこの歯を引いて、はずすことができました。今度は反対側から切りました。枝を切り落とすことができました。2本の木の枝を剪定しました。ほとんど2時間かかりました。
翌朝6時から仕事を始めました。枝を指定ビニール袋に入る大きさにのこで切りました。7時40分にいったん止めました。8時から別の予定があったからです。
地域の道路わきのよう壁の花植えをしました。よう壁に100個弱の排水管がありそこに花を植えています。年に2回、小学生も含めて地域の人たちで花を植えます。
今回は花植えよりもツル性植物を切ったり草を抜いたり側溝のん課をきれいにしたりする作業の方がたいへんでした。
腰が痛くなりましたが、都築校区の道路脇がきれいになりました。
その行事が済んでからうちに帰ってまた枝の片付けをしました。その日はふるや台公民館の掃除当番だったので行って、掃除、草取りをあと2人の人としました。
天気がよくて、仕事が全部終わってよかったです。

A bun phobia
I'm going to talk about a man of bun phobia.
One day there were some boon-companion gathered. A man came being late.
Another man asked him. "What's happened? You look pale."
"I came here through short cut. On the way there was a snake. I'm afraid of snakes. I was so frightened."
"Oh. Are you phobia of snakes? Matchan. What are you afraid of ? Take-yan."
"I'm a bee phobia. In my childhood I was stung by a bee. So I'm afraid of bees."
"How about you,Ume-yan? "
"I'm an ant phobia. When two ants meets coming both sides,I doubt they're taiking something ill of me. So I'm afraid of ants."
"Well, what are you afraid of, Mittuan?"
"Nothing I'm afraid of." "Really? You might be afraid of something."
"No,I'm not afraid of anything." "Yes, you are."
"Oh, actually I'm afraid of a bun."
"Bun? Are you afraid of a bun bean-paste-filled?"
"Yes, I've got felt sick. 'cause I've remembered buns. I shold go home and go to bed."
The fellows mede a plan. They intended to make fun of Mittuan. They bought various buns and they put them Mittuan's bed side.
Then the fellows were waiting out of his room. Then they heard Mittuan crying, "Ohhh, buns! I'm afraid of buns. I'm afraid of buns!"
After a while they felt strange. They opend the door to see him, Mittuan was eating buns. One of them asked him,"Hey, What are you afraid of truly?"
"Now, I'm afraid of a cup of hot green tea."
おもしろい絵本をよみました。えほん寄席 です。その中のお話をひとつします。
まんじゅうがこわい男の話をします。
ある日、遊び仲間が集まっていました。一人が遅れてきました。別の男がたずねます。「どうしたんだい。青い顔して。」
「近道してくる途中、蛇がおってん。わし、蛇がこわいんや。」
「松ちゃんは蛇が怖いんか。 竹やんは何が怖い？」 「わしはハチが怖い。小さいころハチに刺されたんや.
それからハチが怖い」
「梅やんはなにが怖い？」「わしはアリやな。右と左からきてお話してるやろ、わしの悪口言うてるように思て」
「おい、光っつあん。あんたの怖いものは何やねん？」 「怖いもんはない。」「ほんまか？何かあるやろ」 「ない」「ある」
「じつは、まんじゅうや」
「まんじゅう？ あの餡がはいってるまんじゅう？」 「そうや、いかん思い出したら熱がでてきた。うち帰って寝るわ」
仲間たちは光っつあんにいたずらしてやろうと計画しました。いろんなまんじゅうを買ってきて光っつあんの枕元に置きました。そして部屋の外で待つと
光っつあんが叫ぶのが聞こえました。「あーまんじゅうや。こわー。こわいー」
しばらくして様子がヘンです。 みんなが部屋を中をのぞいてみると、光っつあんがまんじゅうを食べていました。
「こらー。ほんまに怖いもんは何やねん」 「今度は熱いお茶がいっぱい怖い」
