Working weekend

Last weekend I worked hard.
In last Saturday evening, I noticed that my ornamental trees' branchs were beyond the property line of my neighber.
I cut some twigs with a pruning scssors, Then I cut limbs and branchs which were height beyond my reach with a pruning hook.
Moreover I attached a lopping saw blade on the pruning hook. Then I cut a wide branch.
But I started to cut from blow side of a leaning branch. So as I cut the branch, the weight made the saw couldn't move.
I tried and tried, but I couldn't remove it.
For the moment, I put the handle on a electric water-heater, keeping the saw from bending or breaking, then I hurried to take a stepladder.
I climbed a ladder and pulled the blade of the saw cautiously, successfully I did. I cut the branch from the other side again.
I could cut the branch off. I pruned two trees in my garden. It took almost two hours.

In the next morning, I worked from six. I sawed the branchs to cut into the length which could be put into the designated plastic gabbage bag, I stopped at seven forty. Because I had another promise, which to start at eight.
I worked at planting flowers on the retaing wall by the road in our community. There are a little less than hundred of drainage pipes which are used as flower pots. Twice in a year people in this community including elementary school students plant flowers.
This time it was harder than planting flowers to cut the climbing plants or to weed or to clean the side ditch.
Though my back hurt, the road side in Tsuzuki school zone has become colorful.
After the event I came home to continue putting branchs away again. For the day was my turn of cleaning Huruyadau public hall, I went to there to clean and weed with other two persons.
I was glad the weather was nice, and I could finish all the works.

先週末はよく働きました。
先週の土曜日の夕方、うちの木の枝が隣の境界線を越していることに気づきました。　小枝を剪定ばさみで切りました。それから、手の届かないところの太い枝を高枝切りばさみで切りました。さらにのこの歯を取り付け、太い枝を切りました。
しかし、傾いている枝の下側から切り始めました。それで、枝を切るにつれ重みでのこが動かなくなってしまいました。いろいろやってみましたが、はずせませんでした。
とりあえず、柄を電気温水器の上に載せて、歯が曲がったり折れたりしないようにして、急いで脚立をとりに行きました。
脚立に乗って慎重にのこの歯を引いて、はずすことができました。今度は反対側から切りました。枝を切り落とすことができました。2本の木の枝を剪定しました。ほとんど2時間かかりました。

翌朝6時から仕事を始めました。枝を指定ビニール袋に入る大きさにのこで切りました。7時40分にいったん止めました。8時から別の予定があったからです。
地域の道路わきのよう壁の花植えをしました。よう壁に100個弱の排水管がありそこに花を植えています。年に2回、小学生も含めて地域の人たちで花を植えます。
今回は花植えよりもツル性植物を切ったり草を抜いたり側溝のん課をきれいにしたりする作業の方がたいへんでした。
腰が痛くなりましたが、都築校区の道路脇がきれいになりました。
その行事が済んでからうちに帰ってまた枝の片付けをしました。その日はふるや台公民館の掃除当番だったので行って、掃除、草取りをあと2人の人としました。
天気がよくて、仕事が全部終わってよかったです。
