An election for lower house of parliament

On Aug 30, an election for lower house of parliament is due to be held. Newspaper says the upcoming election might end the Liberal Democratic Party rule, which has been for more than half a century except for a break shorter than a year in 1993.
I haven't figure out the attitude in rural. At our annual community meeting, a city council member comes and explains how LDP is working. It is said there used to be an election-wining machine in rural Japan. I wish the voters live in rural have became disengaged, because the young people has been impoverished.
If voters choose to change the ruling party, it would be Democratic Party. It is made up LDP defectors and not cohesive. If it would rule, what would be differ from now? I'm interested in the way of redistribution, independence from the US, and how to deal with the bureaucrats.
I'm expecting to be revealed the secret promise which has been hidden by Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
There are many difficult problems like recession, lost pension, social welfare, education, sustainable energy, and so on.
Some correspondents say the upcoming nationwide election would be a sea change. I wonder whether it goes to breakdown or breakthrough?

8月30日に衆議院選挙があります。新聞によるとこの選挙で　1993年の1年足らずの中断を除いて半世紀以上続いてきた自民党支配が終わるかもしれないとのこと。
田舎はよくわかりません。うちの地区の年に一回の自治会総会には市議が来て自民党議員の活動報告をします。自民党は田舎に集票マシンをもっているとききます。
私は田舎の有権者がしがらみから解放されることを願います。若者が貧困化してきているのですから。
有権者が政権交代を望むなら、民主党かもしれません。民主党は自民党脱党者からできおり、一枚岩ではありません。もし、与党になったら今とどうちがうのでしょうか？
再配分をどうするのか、どうアメリカから距離をとるのか、官僚との関係はどうするのか興味があります。
外務省に隠されてきた密約について明らかにされることも期待します。
不況、消えた年金、社会保障、教育、持続可能エネルギー等々、難しい問題がたくさんあります。
総選挙は大きな変化をもたらすかもという新聞記者もいます。それはどちらに向かうのでしょうか、破滅？大躍進？
