community meeting

I must thank for some of my acquaintance who had given me some supporter cards of Mr.Yasumasa Shigeno who had run for the lower house of parliament. He has won. Out of sheer luck and many footsteps, he made it.
But I feel sorry that Mr. Nobuto Hosaka who had run both single- seat constituencies and the proportional representation couldn't win. I think he has been making effort for the missing pension problem. I expect him to work as an activist.

Yesterday, we --parents of elementary school students and junior high school students -- have done a meeting. We talked about a plan to unify of three elementary schools and one junior high school in our district.
We are facing an aging population and a decreasing children.
Each elementary school's students are less than ever. Our community's elementary school have twenty two students now. The other two elementary schools have a little more than ours, but not many.
In the future each of them will need repair or rebuild on the school buildings. The junior high school already need to repair or rebuild.
So the municipal government shows us a plan, to unify the three elementary schools and one junior high school.
I think it is a good idea. I can't concern the new school 'cause my daughter will graduate junior high school in one and half year. But I hope they will construct a good school, and to change the school lunch fee collection system. If there's any complain,it's a chance for students and parents to ask foe change systems to the board of education.
I'm agree to the unifying plan all right, I remember the good old days while my sons and daughter spent at the little elementary school. They were learning two grades' students together, so sometimes I was surprised at their knowledge of earlier than usual.
I think the students were loved by the local people. I'm grateful for them.

衆議院選挙で重野安正氏の協力者カードをくれた知人たちに感謝しています。当選しました。幸運が重なり、またあちこち足を運んだかいがあって彼は勝ちました。
ですが、小選挙区と比例代表区に重複立候補した保坂展人氏が勝てなかったことが残念です。彼は消えた年金問題にずっと力を尽くしてきたと思います。活動家としての活躍を期待しています。

昨日、私たち小学校と中学校の生徒の親が集まりをもちました。私たちはこの地区の３小学校と１中学校の統合案について話しました。
この地区は高齢化と少子化に直面しています。
小学校の生徒数は以前より減っています。私の地区の小学校の生徒はいま全校で22名です。別の地区の２つの小学校はそれより少し多いですが、それほど多くはありません。
将来それぞれが校舎の修理か改築が必要になるでしょう。中学校はすでに修理か改築が必要です。
それで、市は私たちに3小学校と1中学校の統合を提案しています。
私はいい案だと思います。私は新しい学校に関わることはできませんが。というのも娘はあと１年半で中学を卒業するからです。しかし、いい学校を作ってほしい、そして、給食費の集金方法を変えてほしいと望みます。もし、何か困っていることがあれば、生徒にとっても親にとっても教育委員会に変更を要求するチャンスだと思います。
私は統合案に賛成ではありますが、倅たちと娘が小さな小学校に通っていた古き良き日を思い出します。2学年が一緒に学んでいましたので、ときどき普通の進度より先に知っていることに驚かされました。
地域の人たちが子ども達をかわいがってくれたと思います。感謝しています。
