I've read books

 In the  weekend I’ve read three books which I had borrowed at Tanso Library. The two of the books were belong to Tanso Library, and the one of them was belong to Oita prefectural library.

First I’ve read “the Book Lover’s Rebellion” volume 4 written by  Kasuki Miya. Next, “the Tokyo Zero Year” by Akagawa Jiro. And at last “Why Japan can’t decide to abandon the nuclear power plants?” by Komori Atsushi.

The Book Lover’s Rebellion is a nice young adult novel. A 5 years old girl whose inside is a 22 years old modern Japanese women is now lives in an another world.

She loves books, but in this world there is no paper, no publishing industry. Though she is a little child, she tries to make books, in the making process, she shows her knowledge as a 22 years modern woman, it has caught the attention from the upper class in this world. It is very exciting and instructive. I recommend this novel from eleven teens to adults.

The Tanso library has held volume 1 to 4. for now I expect it hold 5 and 6. But I can’t borrow the book so far. So I read the following on internet. The novel has appeared in the “Be a novelist” site at first. That’s why I read the following on the site. Later I want to read the books.

The Tokyo Zero Year is a crime novel at a society which is regulated the freedom of speech. It is cynical. I know some people are waiting this book at the library, i should return it as soon as possible.

The “Why Japan can’t decide to abandon the nuclear power plant?” is a  summarized book the newspaper articles about the complex of the electric companies and government and math media. It is well described in detail. 

週末は淡窓図書館から借りた本を読んだ。２冊は淡窓図書館から借りて１冊は県立図書館から借りた。

最初は香月美夜『本好きの下剋上』4巻を読んで、次に赤川次郎の「東京零年』を読んで、最後に小森敦司の『日本はなぜ脱原発できないのか』を読んだ。

『本好きの下剋上』は面白いヤングアダルト小説だ。５歳の女の子で中身は現代日本の２２歳の女性が別な世界に暮らす。彼女は本好きだけど、この世界には紙も出版社もない。小さな女の子だけど、本を作ると決め、その過程で２２さいの現代女性として持つ知識を表に出す。それはこの世界の上級社会の注目をひく。12歳から大人までにオススメしたい。

単走図書館はこの本を1巻から4巻まで所蔵している。5巻と6巻も入れてくれると期待している。でも今の所借りられない。それで、続きはインターネットで読んだ。これは「小説家になろう」サイトで最初に発表された。だから続きはこのサイトで読んだ。後で本でも読みたい。

『東京零年』は言論の自由のない社会でのクライムノベルだ。風刺的。図書館で予約している人がいるからすぐにできるだけ早く返さなくては。

『日本はなぜ脱原発できないのか』は、電力会社と政府とマスメディアのつながりをについての新聞の記事をまとめたもの。細部まで本当によく取材されていた。

Now I’m at the 6th week of Future Learning Exploring English. Such a good time I have not expected leaning English.

I should note the comments I’ve posted so as not to forget.

(Week 3)

Something about my countryside

I live in Kyushu island,Japan. My house stands in a small village.There is no restaurant,no shopping mall,no hospital. You may say it's inconvenient, yes, but I love the tranquility. 

About two hour's drive takes me Aso volcano and meadow. 

In spring I enjoy ume and cherry blossom. Before farmers plant young rice they fill water the paddies,the surface reflects blue sky, and frogs are noisy in the evening. 

In autumn the leaves turn to red and yellow.The bell crickets sing at night. In winter, though I don't like coldness, the stars are brilliant in the night. 

The climate is not gentle in summer and in winter. I complain about it. Anyway it makes me happy when spring and autumn come.

(Week 4)

My knowledge about Shakespeare

・I don't know much about Shakespeare's play. In my favorite novel & movie "Dead Poets Society", a boy played Puck in "A Midsummer Night's Dream". It was very impressive. 

・O Romeo, Romeo! wherefore art thou Romeo? 

・I know just he wrote many excellent plays for his own theatrical company.

About some characters from literature who have challenged ideas about women’s roles in society

・These novels come to my mind: Color Purple,Their Eyes were Watching Gods, Push,My Antonia, Room, Catsle in the Air, and The Only Neat Things to Do. 

・Some good female poets have had an impact, for example, Akiko Yosano, Noriko Ibaragi, Rin Ishigaki, Machi Tawara. I think many women have been encouraged by their works.

About ‘anniversary’ events

I think the anniversary events are kind of helpful to inform people about the author. 

My favorite author Roald Dahl was born in 1916. I expect his new biography or anecdote will be in public. 

About Japanese books which I recommend

The writer i think best describes my country or culture? Hmm, do I recommend someone from modern writers, not Tale of Genji, or Lafcadio Hearn? 

Does anyone have read Otsuichi? He has many fan in young generation. He writes roughly two type of novels. One is so scary, dreadful, and the other is so heartwarming.His novels are translated in English, Chinese, French, German, Spanish, Thai and Korean.Please look for any copy at your regional library. 

If you are a Sci-Fi fan, you may like Project Itoh. I recommend "Harmony". I was surprised at the beginning of the novel, the description of 'etml', it looked like html. The three girls struggle to survive it the super harmonized society. You can read it in English. 

If you are a mystery fan, you may like Miyuki Miyabe. She has written many books for juvenile and for adult. "All She was Worth" is the book I have read her novel at the first time. I was so touched by the degree of completion. It is translated in English.

(Week 5)

The environment and me

・ I drive to my work place. Because there is no public transportation. So I bought a energy efficient small car, and drive as steady as possible. I set solar panel on my roof about 17 years ago, though it was not inexpensive at that time.I want to prevent the global warming. 

・ Almost all people have heard about global warming. The appliances, cars, and houses are sold with advertisements which emphasize those energy efficiency.

Why I think taking care of environment is important

I’m going to talk why I think taking care of the environment is important. I live in Japan. After World War Ⅱ it has become an industrial country.While the progress the nature resources have been consumed mindlessly.It cause some pollution, increase of CO2 emission, and damage to eco-system. 

While the process, not many citizen was aware of the irremediable error.

Now various reports has brought to citizen so that we shouldn’t pretend we don’t know. If the environment will be changed, it won’t be suitable all the creatures including human beings any more.

It is possible making a decent legislation to prevent the environment.Only if people agree to that.

The sooner, the better. Because the environment need to be well balanced,  after having been destroyed it will be difficult to recreate.

About environmental problems

There are some issues about environment in Japan, especially the nuclear power plants. 

There are old nuclear power plants too dangerous to run continuously. Most nuclear power plants are stands above active faults. After Fukushima Daiichi power plant's accidents all the nuclear power plants had stopped running for a while. But the government still keen to restart those for the sake of electric power cooperations. 

It really scares people not only the possibility of another accident but also everyday leak of radioactive materials or the nuclear wastes. And I'm afraid the waste of money for the plan of reprocessing plant. 

I hope in near future people vote to quitting nuclear power plants.

(Week 6)

About the role of the entrepreneur in my country

・In Japan there are not enough offices which takes care of old people and babies and toddlers. On the other hand there are some evil offices which traps the poor and old in miserable stable to rob their social security subsidy. So some people have started business as NPOs to save the suffering people. 

・I don't know the detail, but there are changes both for better and for worse in the welfare field. 

・I've never seen the TV program for the entrepreneurs in Japan. I think people aren't used to entrepreneurship.

My advise to the entrepreneur in Japan

・He said an entrepreneur is who sees a gap in the market, he meant there would be a business chance. I think he is right everywhere in the world. 

・I have no idea whether the people with the right qualities will succeed anywhere or not. People who have succeeded might have had right qualities, but people who have not succeeded might have had right qualities.It depends. 

・In my country I recommend them to look out the needs of double-income parents. While their children are under 10 years old they need somebody who takes care of their children when the kids are sick or when the parents go to business trip. 

・I suppose it will be nice if there is a matching system who needs nanny and who can take care of kids.

フューチャーラーニングの英語探索も６週目だ。英語を学ぶのがこんなに楽しいとは思わなかった。忘れないように、投稿したものをメモしておこう。

＜３週目＞

自分の国について

私は日本の九州に住んでいます。うちは小さな村にあります。レストランもショッピングモールも病院もありません。不便じゃないかって？　そうです。でもこの静けさがいいのです。クルマで２時間も行けば阿蘇の火山と草原があります。

春には梅と桜が咲きます。農家が稲の苗を植える前に田んぼに水を張ります。その水面に青空が映ります。夕暮れにはカエルが騒がしいです。

秋には葉っぱが赤や黄に色づきます。夜にはコオロギが鳴きます。冬は、寒いのは嫌ですが、星は空にきらめきます。

夏と冬は気候が厳しいです。いつも文句を言っています。でも春と秋が来たとき、嬉しいです。

＜４週目＞　

シェイクスピアについて知っていること

・シャイクスピアの劇についてはあまり知りません。私の好きな小説、映画にもなっている「いまを生きる」の中で、少年が「真夏の夜の夢」のパックの役をやりました。それがとても印象に残っています。

・（知っている有名なセリフ）おお、ロミオ、あなたはどうしてロミオなの？

・（彼について知っていること）自分の劇団のために戯曲を書いたということしか知らない。

世間で考えられている女性の役割について変革を迫るような文学上の登場人物とは

・次の小説が頭に浮かぶ--カラー・パープル、　彼らの目は神を見ていた、プッシュ、わがアントニーア、部屋、ハウルの動く城、たったひとつの冴えたやり方。

・（何らかの衝撃を与えた作家）　何人かの優れた歌人が影響を与えた、与謝野晶子、茨城のり子、石垣りん、俵万智。たくさんの女性が彼女たちの作品によって力づけられたと思う。

記念行事について

記念行事は人々にその作家について知らせるのに役立つと思う。私の好きなロアルド・ダールは1916年生まれだ。伝記か逸話が出版されるのではないかと楽しみだ。

日本の文学でおすすめは

わが国やわが国に文化について上手に描いている作家ですか？　ううーん。源氏物語とかラフカディオ・ハーンじゃなく現代作家で良いですか？

どなたか乙一を読んだことがありますか？　若い世代に多くのファンがいます。大きく分けて二つのタイプの小説を書いています。ひとつは、ものすごく怖くておぞましいもの、もうひとつは胸を打つもの。彼の作品は英語、中国語、フランス語、ドイツ語、スペイン語、タイ語、韓国語に訳されています。どうぞお近くの図書館で探してみてください。

もし、SFが好きなら、伊藤計劃が気にいると思います、おすすめは『ハーモニー』です。出だしがhtmlみたいなetmlというもので驚きました。極度に調和のとれた社会で３人の女の子が苦難に立ち向かう話です。英語版で読めます。

ミステリファンなら宮部みゆきがいいと思います。彼女は少年少女向けから大人向けまでとてもたくさん作品を出しています。私が最初に読んだのは『火車』です。完成度の高さにびっくりしました。英語版が出ています。

＜５週目＞

環境問題

環境と私

・（自分自身の態度や考え）　職場には車で通勤している。公共交通機関がないから。だから燃費のいい小さい車を買った、そしてなるべく一定の速度で行くように心がけている。

１７年くらい前に、当時は安くはなかったけれど、屋根にソーラー発電パネルをつけた。地球温暖化を防げればと思って。

・（日本における環境問題啓蒙）ほとんどすべての人は地球温暖化について聞いたことはある。家電、車、そして家もエネルギー効率を宣伝して売られている。

＜なぜ環境を意識することが大事なのか＞

なぜ環境を意識することが大事だと思うのか話します。私は日本に住んでいます。第２次世界大戦後、工業国になりました。その発達の過程で自然の資源を無思慮に使ってしまいました。そのため、公害、二酸化炭素排出量の増加、生態系の破壊を招きました。

発展の途上で、取り返しのつかない過ちに気づいている人は多くありませんでした。

今はたくさんの研究が出ていますので、知らないふりはできません。環境が変化すれば、それは人間を含め、すべての生き物が適応できなくなります。

環境を守るための適切な法規制は作ることができます。私たちが同意しさえすれば。

早ければ早いほどいいです。というのも、環境は調和がとれていることが大事で、損なわれてしまったら再び元どおりにすることは難しいですから。

環境問題について

日本には環境についていくつかの問題があります、とりわけ原子力発電所のことが。

運転を続けるには危険すぎる老朽化した原発があります。ほとんどの原発は活断層の上に建設されています。福島第一原子力発電所の事故の後、しばらくは原発の運転は止まっていました。しかし、政府は電力会社のために再稼動をしたがっています。

それは人々を本当に怯えさせています。もう一度事故が起こるかもしれないというだけでなく、日々漏れる放射性物質、放射性廃棄物もです。また、核燃料サイクルのために税金が無駄に使われるのも心配です。

近い将来、人々が投票して原発を廃止することを願っています。

＜６週目＞

わが国における起業

・日本では、お年寄や赤ん坊。幼児の世話をする業者が十分ではない。その一方で、老人や貧しい人をみすぼらしい部屋に囲い込んで福祉の手当てをピンハネする悪質な業者もいる。そういう人を救うために非営利団体を立ち上げる人もいる。

・（起業はあなたの国にどう変化を与えたか）詳しいことはわからない。しかし福祉の分野では、良い方にも悪い方にも変化を与えた。

・（イギリスのように起業家にスポンサーを探すテレビ番組はあるか）日本ではそのような番組は見たことがない。起業ということに馴染みがないと思う。

日本における起業家へ私からアドバイスするなら

・彼は現実におけるギャップを見つけるの起業家だと言っていた。つまりそこにビジネスチャンスがある、ということだ。彼の言うことは世界中どこでも当てはまると思う。

・良い品質を持った起業家が世界中どこでも成功するのかどうかはわからない。でも、成功した人は良い品質を持っていただろう。成功しなかった人も良い品質を持っていたかもしれない。時と場合による。

・日本だったら、起業を考える人には共働きの両親が必要とすることを見つけることをすすめる。子供が１０歳以下だと、病気の時に見てくれる人、親が出張の時見てくれる人が必要だ。
・乳母を必要とする人と、子守をしたい人とをつなげる事業があると良いと思う。

I enjoy EXPLORING ENGLISH in the "FutureLearn"

I have not written my journal nearly one month.

There are some reason. First I applied the FutureLearn  EXPLORING ENGLISH course on late Februaly.

It was so interesting and enjoyable. In the first week I’ve learned about global language. in second week I’ve learned British music. And from a learner’s comment I’ve known a TV show, the Voice UK.

It was awesome, and I couldn’t resist bing watching every day. In the third week I’ve learned about British perspective. Then learners communicate the countryside and climate their country.

I’ve posted this,

To my surprise,26 people have liked it.

But at fourth week it is a little bit difficult,as the theme is British literature including Shakespeare.

I have read some juvenile literature in English. I love Michelle Magorian. And I recommend Thread trilogy written by Sophia Bennett.

I don't know much about Shakespeare's play. In my favorite novel & movie "Dead Poets Society", a boy played Puck in "A Midsummer Night's Dream". It was very impressive. 

The EXPLORING ENGLISH course is keep on. I must learn more about Shakespeare, and In fifth and sixth week I don’t know what I’m going to learn.

This course is very instructive,also it is stimulus to see about 200 comments to each theme from all around the world.

That’s one reason I have not written journal. Another reason is my iMac would not boot a week ago.After I turned on the power, it started to boot, but in the middle of booting it died. It occurred once last September. At that time I had it repaired. But this time I gave up. I’ve got a new Mac Book Pro the day before yesterday.

One more reason, last Sunday I took part in Ume festival as a rice ball stall salesperson. It had worked in Saturday night and Sunday. I chatted another salesperson about comics.So the woman rented me the “Glass Mask” vol.42 to vol.49. I had completely good time.

For I appreciate her, I lent her my favorite comic “Balzer in military boots”.

I have skipped writing English long time.I should write my journal regularly from now on.

一月近く日記を書かずにいた。

いくつか理由がある。一つは２月の終わり頃、フューチャーラーンのイクスプローリング　イングリッシュを受講したことだ、

とても面白くて楽しめる。第１週は国際語について学んだ。第２週はイギリスの音楽について。受講者の一人が書いていたコメントからヴォイスユーケイというテレビ番組のことを知った。それがすごく面白くて見続けてしまった。第３週はイギリスの風土について。それから受講者どうしがそれぞれの国の気候や田舎について意見を交わした。私はこう投稿した。

驚いたことに２６人からライクをもらった。

でも、第４週はちょっと難しかった。テーマがシェイクスピアを含むイギリスの文学だった。

児童文学ならいくつか英語で読んだ。ミッシェル・マゴリアンが特に好きだ。それにソフィア・ベネットのスレッド3部作はおすすめだ。

シェイクスピアの劇についてはあまり知らない。好きな小説かつ映画の「今を生きる』の中である少年が「真夏の夜の夢」でパックを演じた。それは深く心に残った。

イクスプローリングイングリッシュのコースはまだ続いている。まだ、シャイクスピアのところをやらなくちゃいけない。第５週と第６週はどんな内容かわからない。

このコースはとても役立つ。それに一つのテーマにつき２００もの世界中の人たちからのコメントを読むのは刺激的だ。

これが日記を書けなかった理由のひとつ。もうひとつはアイマックが１週間前起動しなくなったこと。電源を入れて起動が始まったけれど途中で止まって消えてしまった。去年の９月にも同じことがあった。その時は修理したけれど、今回は諦めた。新しいマックブックプロがおととい届いた。

もうひとつの理由。先週の日曜、梅まつりにおにぎり屋で参加した。土曜日の夜と日曜日に働いた。もう一人の人と漫画について話した。彼女が「ガラスの仮面』を42巻から49巻まで貸してくれた。とことん堪能した。

お礼に、私のお気に入り『軍靴のバルツァー』を貸してあげた。

英語を書くことを長いあいだ怠った。これからは定期的に日記を書くようにしよう。

repaire a flat tire

On 23 Feb. on my way to work I heard unfamiliar sound slightly. It was about  1 km from my house, I parked on the side of the road and looked at tires. I found the left rear tire was flat. I was confused. I made a phone call to my work place that I would be late.
Then I opened the mannual book. My car had a emergency kit. But it was the first time I use it.
I took off the kit. There was an another illustrated manual.
I read it, but I didn’t understand what was that the part’s name. I did’t know “bulb core”, I turned the tool following the direction, I was not sure I was doing right.
After 5 minutes or so, a car parked behind my car. A man of my neighbor got off, then another man came. A man asked me what the tiny metal gear I dropped on the earth, it was the bulb core.
Both of the two men didn’t know about the emergency kit. Then another young man came. He advised and helped me.
I knew outline of the way repair the flat tire, because when I bought this car the car dealer told me. But the memory was vague. It was simple and easy if you had experienced once before.
I filled the liquid glue and filled air by a compressor. It made my hands messy. Then I went to work.
At lunch time I called Yellow Hat to ask change the tires. Usually they declare I need to make a reserve in advance. At that time the clear said if I would come immediately they will change. So I had got paid leave for a while, went to there. I had changed four tires.
After that I dropped into Honda Cars to buy a new emergency kit. As they didn’t have it then, I ordered it.
I felt relieved, because I was to go Yufu for a business trip on the next day. I was not brave enough to drive the long distance with that tire repaired urgently.

Recently, I knew the BOJ made their policy of Zero interest rate. I haven’t understood what it means. Now I know it relate with myself.
Apple sells their product by installment payment within 24 times without interest.
It attracts me. Last summer my iMac had needed repaired. Then I thought if it had needed more than 50000 yen I might better buy an iPad Pro.
Now my iMac is working, but I’m not sure it will work well through another two years.It may be a good idea I get iPad Pro and pay about 5000 yen monthly during two years.
Apple’s campaign will last by the end of March.
Also I’m curious about automobile companies’ zero interest sales. I’ve heard one French automobile company started special sale. But I have not heard from any Japanese automobile company. I’m expecting.

２月23日　出勤途中かすかに変な音がした。道路端に車を停めてタイヤを見てみた。左の後ろのタイヤがパンクしていた。うろたえた。勤務先に遅れることを電話で伝えた。
それからマニュアルを開いた。車には応急処置キットが積んである。でも使ったことはなかった。
応急処置キットを出した。そこにも絵入りのマニュアルがあった。読んだけど、書いてあるパーツの名前が何のことかわからない。バルブコアというものを知らない。指示通りに道具を回した、でもそれでいいのか確信がもてなかった。
５分かそこらして、私の車の後ろに別の車が停まってご近所の方がおりてきた。それからもう一人。ひとりが私に、地面に落ちているそれは何かと聞いた。それがバルブコアだった。
二人ともその応急処置キットは知らなかった。それからもう一人若い人が来てくれた。その人が教えてくれて手伝ってくれた。
パンク修理についてだいたいのことは聞いていた。車を買ったとき車屋さんが教えてくれたから。でも記憶は薄れていた。一回やったことがあれば単純で簡単なことだった。
液体のりみたいなものを充填してコンプレッサーで空気を入れて仕事に行った。
昼休みにイエローハットにタイヤ交換をしてほしいと電話した。通常はタイヤ交換は事前の予約がいる。このときは、すぐ来れるならできると言わてた。しばらく年休をとって行った。タイヤ４本替えてもらった。
帰りにホンダカーズによって応急処置キットを買おうと思った。でも置いていなかったので取り寄せを頼んだ。
よかった。翌日は由布に行くことになっていたから。長距離を応急処置タイヤで走る勇気はなかった。

最近、日銀がゼロ金利政策を始めたことは聞いていた。でもどういう意味があるのかはわからなかった。いまは自分に関係あることだとわかる。
アップルが２４回以内の分割払いは金利なしで製品を売っている。ほしい。去年の夏、iMacが修理が必要になった。そのとき、もし修理代が５万円以上ならiPadプロを買っちゃおうかなと思った。
いまiMacは動いているけど、この先２年間動くかはわからない。iPadプロを買って月5000円くらい2年間払うのもいいかもしれない。
アップルのセールは３月末までだ。
それと、車のゼロ金利セールはどうなんだろう。フランスの会社がひとつやっているのは聞いた。でも日本の会社はまだ聞かない。期待している。

My daughter has finished her term exam on 10 Feb. So she has come home on 11 Feb. after part-time work.
Next day she came to pick me up at my work place in early evening, then we went to au shop.
She intended to change her iPhone 5 to iPhone6s. When she had been to au shop in Saga city the clerk told her she would have to pay about 10000 yen per month. At that time she didn’t decide to change.
This time I accompanied and I asked which plan was cheapest. I understood, if I use a coupon they discount 10000 yen and if she sell iPhone5 they refund 14500 yen. The monthly payment would be about 7700 yen. I agreed it.
After that the clerk checked my daughter’s iPhone5. He said it would not be able be accepted for trade-in. It should be orange mark if it had not be wet. Her iPhone5 didn’t have it.
She said she had never drop it in water, but she had taken pictures in a waterfall in NewZealand.
Since we couldn’t be refund, I must pay about 8300 yen per month.
As she had keen to have iPhone6s, she was so glad.

On 13 Saturday, my daughter and I left home in the morning.
I took her to Saga city, then I went to Fukuoka city.
I went to KBC cinema 1-2 to see “Human Battlefield” then listen to the talk of Hasegawa Sabro and Hirokawa Ryuich.
The movie traced Hirokawa Ryuichi’s life and work.
He was belong to mountaineering club at Waseda University, then started started taking photographs of the students’ movement.
After graduated he went to Israel and worked at a Kibbutz. While he was working there he knew the Kibbutz had founded by destroyed Palestine village. He was shocked, then he started to find the pople who exiled from their home town.
He filmed the battle in Lebanon. He went to see the victims of Chernobyl, then started campaign for Children respectively.
After March 11 2011, he founded a healthcare center for children live in Fukushima.
He calls the place where the dignity of man is lost “human battlefield”.
He is working for not only the let people know somebody suffering but also to save them. I respect him.
He was born in 1943, now he is septuagenarian. Four years ago, his doctor told him not go where it takes more than three hours distance from a hospital which can give him operation.
He looks to have decided to be work as long as possible.

２月１０日に期末試験が終わって、娘が１１日にバイトを終えてうちに帰ってきた。
翌日、夕方私の職場に迎えにきて、それからauショップに行った。
iPhone5をiPhone6sに替えたがっていた。佐賀のショップに行ってきいたら月10000円くらいになると言われて、そのときは決心がつかなかった。今回は私がいっしょに行って、どんなプランが一番安いのか聞いた。クーポンを使って10000円割引、iPhone5を下取りして14500円になることがわかった。それで月7700円くらいになる。それにした。
それからiPnone5をチェックした。店員さんはこれは下取りできませんと言った。水にぬれていなければオレンジ色のマークがあるはずなのっだけど、娘のにはなかった。娘は水に落としたことはないと言っていたけど、ニュージーランドで滝で写真を撮ったことがある。
下取りができなかったので月8300円くらい払うことおになる。
娘はとてもiPhone6sを欲しがってたのでとても喜んだ。

翌日１３日、娘と朝家を出た。
娘を佐賀まで送ってそのあと福岡に言った。
KBCシネマ1-2に『人間の戦場』を見に、そして長谷川三郎と広川隆一のトークを聞きに行った。
その映画は広川隆一の生涯と仕事をたどったものだ。
彼は早稲田大学で山岳部に入っていた。その後、学生運動の写真をとり始めた。
卒業後、イスラエルに行きキブツで働いた。そこで働いているとき、キブツがパレスチナの村を破壊して作られたものだと知った。それから、故郷を追われた人々を探し始めた。
レバノンで戦争の写真を撮り、チェルノブイリで犠牲者に会いに行き、そのどちらも子どもたちの救援の運動を始めた。
2011年３月１１日のあと、福島の子どもの保養施設を作った。
彼は、人間の尊厳が失われた場を「人間の戦場」と呼ぶ。
彼は人々に苦しんでいる人がいると知らせるだけでなく、苦しんでいる人を救おうとしている。尊敬する。
彼は1943年生まれでいま７０代だ。４年前、医者に、手術のできる病院から３時間以上かかる所に行かないように言われた。
できるかぎり仕事を続けるつもりであるようにみえる。

I saw the film "David Bowie is".

 On 6 Feb. I went to KBC Cinema1-2 to see “David Bowie is”.
　It was so touching. I recommend to see it.

　It was the documentary about the V&A museum’s David Bowie exhibition.
The V&A museum’s curators were very competent. They had made the exhibition to show us how David Bowie had made change the world. They correct all the important costumes, his handwritten lyric, his photos, paintings and video clips.
　There is a very impressive work, which looks like a periodic table of elements. I forgot who made it, but it is awesome.
It shows who influenced David Bowie and who David Bowie has influenced.

　In this movie I see the talk show that held during the exhibition.
I didn’t know the “Bowie night”. A modern clothing culture scholar talked, there used to be the “Bowie night” at many places in U.K.
It was not just dancing party. The kids so-called misfit went to there, and they found out it was OK being just they were.
 David Bowie encouraged or rescued kids who felt they never be included society.

 The exhibition goes abroad, U.S. Paris or somewhere. It comes to Japan in 2017 spring. It will be so fun.

　２月６日、KBCシネマ１−２に『デヴィッド・ボウイ・イズ』を見にいった。
とても心に響いた。おすすめする。
これはV&Aミュージアムで行われたデヴィッド・ボウイ展覧会の記録フィルムだ。
V&Aミュージアムの学芸員さんは本当に有能だ。この展覧会でデヴィッド・ボウイがいかに世界に変革をもたらしたのかを見せてくれた。
彼らはすべての重要な衣装、手書きの歌詞、写真、絵画、ビデオを集めていた。
とても印象的な作品もあった。元素周期表みたいなもので、デヴィッド・ボウイが影響を受けた人々、デヴィッド・ボウイが影響を与えた人々を示す。作った人の名前は忘れたけれど、すごいものだった。

この映画では展覧会の期間中に行われたトークショウもみることができる。
「ボウイ・ナイト」といものは知らなかった。ある現代服飾学の研究者が話した。かつてイギリスのいたる所で行われていた。ただダンスをする場じゃなかった。はみだし者と呼ばれる子どもたちはそこへ行き、彼らは彼らのあるままでいいのだと発見した。
デヴッド・ボウイは社会に居場所がないと感じる子どもたちを力づけ、救った。

この展覧会は海外へも行く、アメリカやパリ、どこか。日本には2017年春にくる。楽しいだろう。

I've been sombre.

　From the end of last month, I’ve been sombre, for a few reason.

 First, my house’s water heater has broken on 24 Jan. The man who had come to repair it said it had broken from aging.
 It was so cold, minus 8 degree C, the coldness nay be the last straw consequently.
 The man replaced the old one to rental one temporarily. Then he has sent me the estimate. It says the price about 1,000,000 yen and he will discount about 490,000 yen, plus consumption tax. I should pay 623,538 yen.

 Next, I’ve heard from my eldest son lives in Tokyo that his landlady told him vacate his apartment house due to the end of March.
 She told him that on 28 Jan. He has confused ‘ cause he meant to live continuously. As he had no money, he asked her whether she would pay the expenses for moving on 30 Jan. She said “No!”, add to that she told that he had skipped rent four times. He had not noticed that.
 Her declaration quite upset him. He sent me massage via LINE that he wanted to kill her.
 My son and I discussed on Sunday and Monday night.
 I told him to consult free legal adviser. And I wrote a letter to the landlady to ask detail. I sent the letter by express delivery in Tuesday morning.
 My son went to Ho Terrace on Monday and made an appointment to see a lower on Wednesday.
 I’ve got a letter from the landlady answering my question.
 She has a reconstruction plan of the building. She told that each tenant from December to January.
 My son didn’t pay the rent four times for these three years. I asked her if she would pay the expenses for moving. On this point, she will manage the removals and pay the charge. But she doesn’t pay anything else. She demands the rent on the installment plan.

 My son didn’t notice he skipped the rent. If he had dome, this case worth to compensation. He doesn’t want to move on this condition.
 Anyway, he has no saving money. I wrote a letter again. to explain that.
 I’m grateful to her for managing the movers, and I’m so sorry to ask her to write off all his debts. It’s tough negotiation.
 I wish both of them reach a mutually acceptable solution.

The third. The bank of Japan introduced a negative interest rate policy. It hopes that will encourage commerciial banks to lend more rather than
keeping cash at the BOJ.
I know in Japan the interest rate has been zero. However I must save money for the future. I’m not sure I’ll live on pension.
On the other hand I’ve heard many young people suffer from returning their education loan. The interest rate isn’t zero, much higher.
I don’t want to save money unless the bank lend students money lower interest rate. But I don’t know what to do.

 My mother usually says being healthy is much more valuable than having money. Still I concern both health condition and economic condition.
　先月の終わりから、いくつかのことで気分がぱっとしない。
　まず、１月２４日給湯機がこわれた。修理に来てくれた人は経年劣化だと言った。あのときはすごく寒くてマイナス８度だった。それが最後の一押しになったんじゃないだろうか。
　修理に来た人はとりあえず仮設の給湯機をおいていった。その後、見積もりを送ってきた。およそ100万円で、４９万円値引きして、消費税がつくと書いてある。62万３千538円払わなくちゃいけない。

　２番目に、東京にいる一番上の倅から、大家さんから３月末までの退去を言い渡されたときいた。
　大家さんは28日に倅に言ったそうだ。倅はそのまま住むつもりだったので困惑した。お金もないので、３０日に大家さんに引越しにかかる費用は出してもらえるかたずねた。大家さんの返事は「出さない」それに、倅が４回家賃を払っていないといった。倅はそのことに気づいていなかった。大家さんが言ったことが倅をひどくろうばいさせた。LINEで大家を殺すと書いてきた。
倅と、日曜、月曜の夜相談した。
私は、無料法律相談に行くようすすめた。そして、大家さんに詳しいことを問い合わせる手紙を書いた。手紙を火曜日の朝速達で出した。
倅は月曜に法テラスに行って、水曜日に弁護士と面談の予約をした。
大家さんから返事がきた。
建て替えの予定だそうだ。そのことは１２月から１月に借家人に連絡をしていた。
倅はこの３年間のうち４回家賃を払っていなかった。大家さんに引越し費用のことを尋ねたのだが、大家さんは引越し業者の手配とその費用はみるとのことだった。でもそれ以外は払うつもりはない。滞納分は分割で払ってとのこと。

倅は家賃未納のことに気づいていなかった。もし、払っていたら、これは大家さんから賠償がでてもいいケース。倅はこの条件では退去はしたくない。ともかく、貯金はない。私は再度、このことを説明する手紙を書いた。
大家さんが引越し業者を手配して料金もみてくれることに感謝し、たいへん心苦しいことではあるけれど倅の未納分を棒引きしてくれないか尋ねた。むずかしい交渉だ。
両方が、落とし所みつけてくれることを願っている。

３番目。日銀がマイナス金利政策を打ち出した。日銀はそれで、市中銀行がお金を日銀に退蔵せず、もっと貸出にまわすことを期待している。
日本の金利がゼロなのは知っている。けれども、将来に備え貯金をしないわけにはいかない。年金で暮らせるとおは思えない。
その一方、たくさんの若い人たちが、奨学金の返済に苦しんでいるときく。その金利はゼロじゃなく、ずっと高い。
学生にもっと安い金利でお金をかしてあげないのなら銀行に預けたくはない。でも、どうしたらいいのかわからない。

　母はいつも健康でいることはお金を持つよりずっと価値があるという。それでも、私は健康と経済状態とどっちも気にする。
