That's a relief

I've quitted the officer of junior high school PTA. But this year I've been pointed a represent of my work place unit of the labour union, an officer of the women's department of our office,and an officer of school librarian's department. It is like the Grand Slam.
At first honestly I was disgusted. But I know It's my turn. While my children were little, other people took the rolls. Now I have to make it up.
In the end of March and April, I had to make several documents and reports, make calls here and there, and attend some meetings.
And today I went to Oita-city to meet our employer demanding to raise the wage, to employ the temporary workers as regular workers.Also asked to give paid leaves when we have to care the family members who is congnitivey-imoaired or physically handicapped person. The meeting started at 3:00 p.m. continued to 6:00 p.m.
At 5:00 p.m. I send a mail to my third eldest son to get on a bus for I would be late. Recently I noticed a bus route from one of the bus stop to my house it take thirty minute on foot.The bus runs twice a day, leaves Hita bus center at 12:10 and at 17:27. It takes about ten minute from the high school to the bus center. He could get on the bus. I left Oita city at 6:20 p.m. On the way to home, at 7:00 p.m. I called and ask my daughter to prepare supper. Though I was tired and hungry I went to English lesson. I encouraged myself, " Go and you'll be able to enjoy." I was glad to see two newcomers, who are mom and daughter,and the girl was at the same high school in the same class with my son. I wish I could come with my son.
Today I 've known that even if I can't pick up my third eldest son he can come home by bus, and even if I can't get ready for supper my children can it. That's a relief.

私は中学校のＰＴＡの役員をやめました。しかし、今年は労働組合の分会長と分会の女性部委員と学校司書部委員になりました。3階級制覇みたいです。
最初は正直いってがっかりしました。しかし、自分の番だということはわかっています。子どもが小さい頃は他の人たちがやってくれていたわけです。埋め合わせをするべきときです。
3月終わりから4月は書類を書いたり報告を書いたり、あちこち電話をかけたり会議に出たりしなくてはなりません。
今日は大分市に雇用主と交渉に行きました。賃上げや非正規雇用者を正規雇用にすることを要求しました。そして認知障害や身体障害の家族を介護しなくてはならないときの休暇を求めました。交渉は3時に始まり6時まで続きました。5時に3番目の倅に、遅くなりそうだからバスに乗ってとメールを送りました。最近、バス停からうちまであるいて30分のバス路線があることに気づいたのです。1日2便で、日田バスセンターを12時10分と17時27分に発車します。高校からバスセンターまでは歩いて10分くらいです。倅はバスに乗れました。私は大分市から6時20分に帰りました。帰る途中で7時に娘に電話して夕食の支度を頼みました。疲れてお腹がすいていましたが、「行こう、きっと楽しいよ」と自分を励まして英会話教室に行きました。行ってよかったです。2人新しい人に会えました。母娘で、お嬢さんは倅と同じ学校の同じクラスの生徒でした。うちの倅も来ればいいのに。
今日、たとえ倅を迎えにいけなくてもバスで帰れること、たとえ夕食の支度ができなくても子ども達でやれることがわかりました。ほっとしました。
