The graduation ceremony

On 6 March, my third eldest son graduated from junior high school. Forty-one students had graduated.
It rained light shower in the morning, but it stopped raining soon.
The graduation ceremony was very heart warming. The outgoing students were given the diplomas by turn on the stage. After they gifted the diplomas and bowed to the principal they turned around and greeted to the audience with a bow.They said their dreams or feeling of thankfulness to thier friends and teachers and parents.
Our president of PTA delivered a congratulatory adress. He talked about his experience in his 6 age. When he ate a watermelon he asked his mother what would happen if he seeded the watermelon seed. His mother said to him "Try it."
He seeded and watered every morning. A sprout began. He expected. One day he found a watermelon. It was his mother's present. He said to the students that he had learned three from this experience. Trying anything, then someone is watching him, and someday he'll make somebody happy like his mother.
The president of students council delivered a farewall adress,then the first grade and second grade students sang in chorus a song of "On the day of departure". Next the representative third grade student gave an adress in reply. Then third grade students sang in chorus a song of "A letter". All students sang with sincerity. All of us were moved.
After the graduation ceremony, third grade students and parents had a class of HRA --home room activity--. The children and parents exchanged their letters.
In the evening, the parents and the theachers held a farewell party. We had a good time.

卒業式
　3月6日　3番目の倅が中学校を卒業しました。41人が卒業しました。
朝は少し雨が降っていましたがすぐやみました。
卒業式はたいへん心温まる式でした。卒業生は壇上で順番に卒業証書をもらいました。卒業証書をもらって校長にお辞儀をして出席者の方に振り向いてお辞儀をして挨拶をしました。彼らの夢や、友達・先生・親への感謝の気持ちなどを言いました。
　PTA会長が祝辞を述べました。彼は6歳のときの経験を話しました。スイカを食べたときお母さんにこの種をまいたらどうなるの？ときいたそうです。お母さんは「やってみたら」と言いました。彼はスイカの種をまいて毎朝水をやりました。芽が出始め楽しみにしていました。ある朝そこにスイカを見つけました。それはお母さんのプレゼントでした。この経験から３つのことを学んだと生徒たちに言いました。
何でもやってみること、誰かが自分をみてくれていること、お母さんがしてくれたようにいつか自分も誰かを楽しませたいということ。
　生徒会長が送ることばを言いました、そのあと1・2年生が『旅立ちの日に』を合唱しました。次に卒業生の代表が別れのことばを言いました。そのあと3年生が『手紙』を合唱しました。生徒たちみんな心をこめて歌いました。私たちみんな感動しました。
　卒業式のあと3年生は学活の授業を親子でしました。親と子どもが手紙を交換しました。
　夜は親と先生方でお別れの会をしました。楽しいひとときを過ごしました。
