Athetic meeting

On September 7th there was an athletic meeting at Oyama junior high school. In the morning the students played matchs inter groups of red and white by themselves. In the afternoon students and thier family members played games together. I participated two of the games, "Mukade race" and "Jumping rope and carrying and crushing ballon by couple" .
The weather was fine and warm, and there was a large spectator. I noticed many old boys of this junior high school had visited the school. Probably they're high school students. I wonder they had come to encouredge the underclassmen,or they had come to jest at underclassmen. Because I've heard after the athletic meeting was over there were many trash left around the gymnasium.
It might be difficult for the teachers and parents to educate students being decent.

9月7日　大山中学校で運動会がありました。午前中は生徒だけで紅軍と白軍で試合をしました。午後は生徒と生徒の家族とで一緒に試合をしました。私は2種目に参加しました。「むかで競争」と「二人でなわとびして風船を運んでで割る」ゲームです。
　天気がよくてあたたかくたくさんの観客がいました。中学校の卒業生がたくさん来ていました。たぶん高校生でしょう。後輩たちを励ましにきたのかひやかしに来たのかよくわかりせんでした。というのも運動会が終わったあと体育館周辺にごみがいっぱい残っていたと聞いたからです。
　先生達にとっても親達にとっても、まともにしつけをするのはむずかしいようです。
