Tokyo sight seeing

　From 28 to 31 July I had been in Tokyo with my family. We stayed a bussiness hotel near the Shinjuku Gyoen mae station.To my regret I couldon't enter the Shinjuku Gyoen,because it was opened from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. while we visited another places every day.
We visited Tokyo Metropolitan Government Tower, Tokyo Metropolitan University,Meiji University Museum,World Trade Center,GHIBLI Museum, Tokyo Metrpolitan Museum of Photography,Akihabara,Koenji Nakadori shopping street,Nakano Broadway,and so on.
Fortunately my first born son living in Tokyo from this April was fine. But during the four days we stayed he had to take first-half exams two days. He came sight viewing together after he had finished the exams. I was surprised that they had first-half exams at the last of July.
One of the aim of this travel was my second-born son's campas visiting. I hope it was useful for him.

My children's most favorite place was Akihabara. There were many people walking on the street,and it seemed half of them were tourists like us, including many foreigners. It was an exciting city having abundant shops of PC parts,comic,video games, or someting. I don't mean there is no Gachapon or UFO chatcher in local city. But I was overwhelmed with such scene --the entire structure was tightly packed with Gachapon machines and stores specializing in figures,comic,and model kits. There were many different kind of toy snacks and figures (so-called Riboltec) I saw first.
We entered SEGA, Tora no Ana, Radio Kaikan building, Yodobashicamera, Sofmap, and some shops I don't remenber it's name.
Almost figures were cute character, the others provoke erotic delusion. I wasn't sure whether they cause sexual satisfaution indeed.
I bought a folding umbrella with anime character and a webcamera for souvenir. My second born son bought some canned Odens with lovely maid character. Orignaly the canned Oden were sold to eat but those had advanced special product of Akihabara. I felt the Akiba culture had become prevalent.

　7月28日から31日まで東京に行ってきました。新宿御苑前駅に近いビジネスホテルに宿泊しました。残念ながら新宿御苑には入れませんでした。開園が朝9時から夕方5時で、その間毎日出かけていたからです。
都庁、首都大学、明治大学博物館、貿易センタービル、ジブリ美術館、東京都写真美術館、秋葉原、高円寺仲通商店街、中野ブロードウェイ　などに行きました。
4月から東京で一人暮らしの倅も元気でよかったです。でも滞在中の4日のうち2日は倅は前期試験を受けていてそれが終わってから観光に合流しました。7月末に前期試験とは驚きました。2番目の倅が大学を見学するのが目的のひとつでしたが、よい刺激になってくれたことを祈ります。
子ども達が一番行きたがったのは皆秋葉原です。たくさんの人たちが通りを歩いていました、その半数は外国人も含めて私たちのような旅行者のようでした。パソコンのパーツ屋、コミックやテレビゲームやらでいっぱいのわくわくする町でした。ガチャポンやUFOキャッチャーが地方にないわけではありません。しかしビルまるごとガチャポンとかフィギィアやコミックや模型の専門の店の光景に圧倒されました。食玩でもフィギィア（リボルテックというらしい）でも種類がたくさんあって初めて見ました。
　セガ、とらのあな、ラジオ会館、ヨドバシカメラ、ソフマップ、あと名前を忘れたいくつかの店に入りました。
　フィギィアはかわいらしいのがほとんどでしたが、性的妄想を喚起させるものもありました。本当に性的満足が得られるのかどうか私はわかりませんでしたが。
　私はアニメ絵のついた折りたたみ傘とウェブカメラをおみやげに買いました。2番目の倅はメイドキャラクターのついたおでん缶をいくつか買いました。もともと食べるためにあったおでん缶が秋葉原の名物になっていました。アキバ文化の浸透を感じました。
